I rented a sigma fp camera. This is an extremely versatile cinema grade camera. There are literally hundreds of attachments and it can take all kinds of lenses. Here is a link to the product page:

There is a video floating out there somewhere as well. I rented the camera for one purpose, to go photograph a local fireworks display. The event turned out poorly, I did have a great conversation with the owner of a marina nearby the event, and met some other local people as well.
And when I returned home late that evening I went around town taking late night photographs. The motorcycle in this post was in a parking lot and with some adjustments in Photoshop it came out like what you see.
An amazing camera for low light still photos. However, as I walked around that evening, the local fire department flew a helicopter and landed outside the fire department building. The camera didn't work so well at all for video recording the helicopter landing and taking off. That said, Adobe Premiere might be able to bring up the video so the helicopter is actually visible.
Hey Charles, this is Karen from the Stage 32 team. I just wanted to let you know I moved your post from Introduce Yourself to Cinematography, as it fits much better there. But feel free to do another post discussing who you'd like to connect with, what you're working on, or what you'd like to work on. Think of it as a virtual handshake! Let me know if you have any questions and all the best to you!
