Language

I'm completing a fantasy script, and I noticed I didn't add the Egyptian accent to the script. Does anyone know a website I can listen to how Egyptians speak?

Tasha Lewis

Search and earn Bing.com and Search.pch.com . Stage 32 may have members who have the skill set.

You can actually search for Stage 32 members by location and occupation. Maybe location first and then see if someone would be willing to do a script exchange to give you notes on the dialect? https://www.stage32.com/people

Kiril Maksimoski

Shyina Crayton you're referring to ancient Egyptians, right? Nowadays Egypt language is Arabic...

Tasha Lewis

When I prepared for a role, I just searched in your favorite search engine. There is an association on dialects.

Dan Guardino

Like Nick said.

Shyina Crayton

Thank you all. I found what I was looking for to perfect my script.

That is an EXCELLENT note, Nick Assunto - Stage32 Script Services! You could literally just add a note in the action line about it or the initial parenthetical, and it wouldn't take away from the readability.

Doug Nelson

Take it up with the Casting Director.

Stephanie Henry-Ricchi

Listen to Babbel or Rosetta Stone language courses because they have audio translations as well

Rasool McGee

Talk to an athropoligist to get anicent dialogue

Karen "Kay" Ross

That's a good idea, Rasool McGee!

Thank you Karen
