Writer, Videographer, Director, Creative Type

Greetings Stage 32 Family! It's been a minute since I've been on here. I finally got my video production business/home studio up and functioning. REAL SISTER CREATIONS is official! I'm working on a manuscript (3rd novel) and also turning one of my short stories into a movie short. Creatively busy! I wish everyone much success. If you're ever in Louisville, Kentucky, give me a shout. Stay safe. Peace

Welcome to the club. :)

Congratulations on your production company. You are going to do great things!

Hey, Kimberly Perdue-Sims! My name is Kay, I'm the Community Manager here at Stage 32. Nice to meet you! Congrats on your company and home studio - that's awesome! What are you working on? Do you do your own editing as well? What do you shoot on?

I’m sure you’ve already discovered the Screenwriting Lounge (https://www.stage32.com/lounge/screenwriting), but I'd love for you to start a conversation in the Cinematography Lounge about your process or your gear: https://www.stage32.com/lounge/cinematography Or even in the Filmmaking Lounge about how you collaborate on trailers (how cool that you do book trailers!): https://www.stage32.com/lounge/directing

Keep in mind that these lounges are like the VIP Filmmaker's Lounges at Film Festivals, so this is where you can meet the people doing the work, get advice on anything you're working on, and/or give back to those who may need advice. We're a very supportive and encouraging community! I think you'd also enjoy my intro blog post on how to engage with the Stage32 Community:

Enjoy exploring the lounges, and don't forget to comment and respond to others’ posts, too! It's the best way to really connect!

Kimberly Perdue-Sims welcome back! Congratulations to your production company and wish you the best. I too got mine started during the start of COVID and we're now just getting the ball rolling creating music videos for local talent.
