Introduce Yourself : Punk snot dead & chaos by Stuart Newman

Stuart Newman

Punk snot dead & chaos

Looking for a Producer/Production company for two brand new music subculture projects.

PUNK SNOT DEAD (optioned and adaptation of Kerrang! scribe, Morat's latest novel)

England, 1981: A disillusioned teenage punk runs the tribal gauntlet in this traumatic, rite-of-passage road movie.

This is England meets The Football Factory via Quadrophenia.

CHAOS (Original 4 x 60" TV series)

An estranged Rock & Roll band revisit the long buried past.

Chaos is for Musicians what Californication was for Authors and Sons of Anarchy was for Bike Gangs. Part Joy Division biopic, Control, part Motley Crue’s The Dirt, it’s a warts n’ all look behind the workings of a Rock & Roll band and how middle aged men deal with their - sometimes tainted - pasts.

Karen "Kay" Ross

Hey, Stuart Newman! My name is Kay, I'm the Community Manager here at Stage 32. Nice to meet you! Definitely reach out to our Director of Script Services, Jason Mirch, who is excellent at matching projects with potential executives: J.Mirch@stage32.com

I’m sure you’ve already discovered the Screenwriting Lounge (https://www.stage32.com/lounge/screenwriting), but definitely reach out on the Acting Lounge (https://www.stage32.com/lounge/acting) for insight into characters, dialogue, and even when you want to generate interest in a virtual table read!

Have you finished writing the script, or do you still need feedback? Have you put together a pitch for it? If you need practice or feedback for that pitch, then I would highly suggest signing up for the Writer's Room. We host a weekly Pitch Practice session for peer feedback moderated by our Script Services Coordinator, Nick Assunto. As a WR member, you also get a discount on services AND because there is an extra Wednesday Webinar this month, you would also get a code for a free webinar. Seriously, can't recommend it enough! DM me for your first month free.

Enjoy exploring the lounges, and don't forget to comment and respond to others’ posts, too! It's the best way to really connect! And, of course, feel free to reach out at any time.
