Hey Everybody! I'm a writer and sometime director in stage and film who has begun to dabble in TV writing (as I suspect many of us have during this streaming gold rush). I've got a one hour drama pilot called CHASING THE DARK that's won a bunch of prizes and a lot of fans. My question is have any folks had success with paying to talk to the studio heads or producers offered by Stage 32? I might try that, so I'm looking for encouragement.
In addition I'm gearing up to direct an indie feature I wrote if it ever becomes safe to do so. I'd love to get fresh feedback on the script if anybody's up to read a broken-hearted romantic comedy entitled GHOSTED...let me know. I'll happily swap if you have something you want to have me read. I give good, constructive notes and am a mentor to several folks who don't seem angry at what I have had to offer. Stay well everybody. Have a good weekend.
Welcome and Congratulations Mike Bencivenga! Would be happy to help!
Hi Mike! I’m happy to read it if you want some fresh feedback. My email is hola@barbaraelbinger.com
Hi Mike,
I'd be interested in a swap and feedback.
About paying to talk, I cannot give you any feedback. It has not let me anywhere yet.
