I have a 7-book novel series with a 2-hour pilot episode 1, and 11 scripts to follow. And a 158-page story summary encapsulating the story from the beginning to the end. I have a logline. I have a 2-page pitch. I have a budget with a prospectus.
Just a humble novelist and screenwriter. Wrote what I think is my best project ever, a script. Got rejected by my main connect in nyc and got a request but now assumed rejection by a great management group. So focusing on my next project, a novel based on a Russian woman’s life I’ve been interviewing who had a kgb mother and was raised to be a honeypot operative and is now a prolific spiritual healer. On to the next, as they say.
I learned from an artist, "always have 6 projects". They must be in different stages. If you are hitting the wall on one, you have always the next one, so the other project can mature a bit.
That’s so awesome
And you?
