Opened casting a week ago on the 2021 production of our independent series and the quantity and quality has been beyond anything that would have been reasonably hoped for. I always manage to forget how much I enjoy working with actors until it is again time to construct a cast.

I totally agree! Working with actors is a great reminder of the love we have of directing. Actually, I'd love for you to post more about your recent casting in the Acting Lounge (https://www.stage32.com/lounge/acting).
