That is the saddest lesson I've ever heard! I wonder if some part of that lesson is learning how to coordinate post-production as effectively as we do production. I've always thought it was such a rip-off that the production crew gets free meals/crafty with their day rate and editors do not.

I had the chance to work with a fantastic editor on my movie this past year. Jeffrey Wolf, A.C.E./A.M.P.A.S. Can't say enough good things. One of the highlights of my career. The movie is being released this Valentine's Day weekend. Anyone who under-appreciates what a good editor really brings to the game, doesn't really understand filmmaking.
