Grateful for Stage 32

Hi Everybody!

I discovered Stage 32 several years ago and I can't say enough about the support, camaraderie, and the collaborative feel of this online community!

I'm a freelance marketing and creative writer/screenwriter/producer. I currently work as associate producer and marketing manager for nonprofit, Gegax Family Foundation. Our documentary project — Spark: A Systemic Racism Story ( https://youtu.be/gDg8klQUH2g ) — released on Dec. 2, 2020. Aside from informing and entertaining, the 30-minute film is used by Diversity, Equity & Inclusion leaders within corporations, organizations, and academia like Stanford University's Graduate School of Business, Microsoft, WD-40 and school districts in New Jersey, Minneapolis and San Diego, to name a few. It is FREE and available for all to see on my profile page :)

In 2018, after decades in the writing world, I took a stab at fiction and followed my dream of screenwriting. It feels good to be a 'newbie' and I'm grateful for the creative community I've met through the process of writing, editing, and collaborating with others to hone my dramedy, MARCH, written with my co-writer and daughter, Hannelore Manriquez, a recent graduate from Syracuse University’s BFA Acting program.

Thanks to Stage 32's AWESOME Script Services Team, we have edited the hell of our script (ha!) and received recognition from several reputable contests. We are looking for agents, lit managers, producers, directors, who might want to take a chance on us and our kick-ass story about friends of a certain age navigating unprecedented times against the backdrop of a local installment of the inaugural Women’s March. Join us!!
