Ashley mentioned it and I've read it in other sources as well: A group of writers can help you with progressing and getting better.
For me, it's always easier making connections if some common ground is established, and since we're all in this class together, I was wondering if some of you might be interested in sticking together and exchange ideas and drafts and comment on each other's work.
Now that being said, I don't have much to offer. I have the feeling, most of you are much further down the road than I am. I like to tell stories and I'm trying to gain as much knowledge as possible to tell them in a compelling way. That probably doesn't make me the best "asset" for a writing group, but I'm good in research and acquiring knowledge. I'm happy to share what I've learned, even if it's not much. And I'm very interested in the ways, you tell your stories.

You always have something to offer if you have the desire to create.

Wise words! And quite encouraging.
We're all learning. Always. And if people who knew more than us didn't engage with us (like Ashley is) then we'd never progress. I'm always up for writer groups.
