I've been chatting with a new friend today, Aurore (https://www.stage32.com/profile/710211/about), and I'm curious who else shares in her interests! She wants to keep the details of her project hush-hush, but what was fascinating was the role of the language. The series is written to be filmed in Sweden and she started learning Swedish for the love of the language, the love of the culture, but also helped to ease conversations when pitching the project at Cannes. ***You can learn about her project on her profile link.
Has anyone else learned a language to better facilitate international co-production?
OH! She also likes cerebral SciFi films, especially European films. Comment below with your favorite, most obscure SciFi film!
I myself am re-learning Spanish and French for general improvement and a few projects.
