Introduce Yourself : Professor emeritus, screenwriter by Lynn H. Elliott

My name is Lynn Elliott. I was born and raised in Wales, where Lynn is a male name! I emigrated in my twenties to study in UC, Santa Barbara.(MA, PhD). I am an emeritus professor from CSU, Chico. Like all immigrants who came to their adopted country 20+, I have experienced different "ways of knowing." For example, European history for me was bloody and brutal and written by the victors. One of my screenplays, ALTA CALIFORNIA, a multiple-award winner, studies one, forgotten aspect of the history of my adopted country., the USA I have also written in many other genres--horror, comedy, drama, action--all of which have received awards. Now, if only I could pull myself away from the joys of writing to delve into the business of getting an agent, etc. But, fortunately or unfortunately, there are always more stories to be written!
