Hey all, I thought I should share this here. I just launched my kickstarter for my middle-grade book series. I wanted to share the fact that I created a 2 min fully CG animated video with 4 characters for the kickstarter. I did it with no budget and pretty much on my own (plus a modeler and vo talent). It's not perfect by any means, but it shows the potential of what is possible for individuals to create their own content. Thanks Karen for the suggestion. And my biggest challenge has been making the characters look pleasing - I'm already getting folks who are commenting on how scary/creepy my animation is - which is fine, people can feel how they like. I've done my share of commenting. But no one really cares if you had 300 million dollars or 0 dollars, they will judge your work the same. Lesson learned.
