Hey y'all, so I have this short film we're trying to push out to festivals ASAP, and we need a little touching up in the sound department. It's a silent film, and we had a composer create a score for us, but we're missing some of the character moments and such. We want to hire somebody to help design some sound effects for various actions and moments that'll hopefully help color our story and keep the audience invested.
Thing is, we're not totally sure what we're looking for. My first thought was a Foley Artist but that's not showing up as a search option on the websites I'm using. Should I look in Sound Mixers? Scoring? Any tips would be appreciated.

Hi Duncan, I can help you out. Most sound designers also do Foley, and I do all audio post production.

A Sound Designer is what you're looking for, and lots of them do compose and foley as well (for instances just like yours!).
