My Greenman webcomic! Looking for readers!! Hello, I’m new to Stage 32 and first time posting. I have a webcomic I am currently producing and creating that may interest many of you here. https://www.greenmancomic.com I would love to hear thoughts and feedback if you give it a read. Here is a little info about the project… Green Man, a forgotten god, travels back through time on a quest to judge the nature of humanity. Like a divine Rod Serling, he narrators uncanny tales of the human condition. Can he reconcile human nature with nature itself? Green Man: The Roots of Time melds myth and history in an epic six-part (126 page, approx.) fantasy comic series from the mind of artist Douglas Sirois (The Path, Apollo, Kings Road, dougsirois.com) and writer A.P. Weber (Lies and Half Truths, The Adventures of Woodrow the Wicked, Ion Grip apweber.com). It takes the reader on a journey through the darkness and beauty of the human experience, with waypoints at fantastic locations and tectonic historic events: from the timeless land of the Fae to the deadly plains of the American West, from plague-ravaged medieval Europe to a near-future research laboratory. Fans of SANDMAN, SWAMP THING, TWILIGHT ZONE, JONATHAN STRANGE AND MR NORRELL, AMERICAN GODS and Ingmar Bergman’s THE SEVENTH SEAL will be drawn to GREEN MAN: THE ROOTS OF TIME.

Hey, Doug SIrois! If you haven't already, definitely reach out in the Animation Lounge (https://www.stage32.com/lounge/animation) and the Transmedia Lounge (https://www.stage32.com/lounge/transmedia) - just be sure to tailor your post per lounge so it's not just copied and pasted (it'll read as spam).

Hello Tessa! Thanks again for your kind words regarding my GreenMan book. It is a project that I have had in my mind for a long time regarding the mythical GreenMan and how it represents man's connection with nature, especially at a time of environmental crisis we see in our current climate.I feel it is a very important time for this story.
As for me, I have been working in comics for over 10 years as either an illustrator or colorist for publications such as Dark Horse comics, IDW, penguin Publishing and some smaller companies as well. Green Man is the first comic I conceived/created and with the writing help from a friend we’ve put together quite a ride.
I have self published a children’s book entitled, The Path, as well. I’ve worked on other comics such as a retelling of Dickens, A Christmas Carol, and an adaptation of a Greek god story, Apollo, with another writer. I am currently putting together some pitches for new projects of my own and more. I am also teaching Illustration full time at Savannah College of Art and Design SCAD.
Let’s chat further!
Hope you have a great day!

Doug SIrois I really love the evocative look and feel that seems both contemporary and mythical, very intriguing and magical realism type of projects!
