Hi everyone! My name is Azu, a film-maker from London Town but with a very global mindset. Turned my back on practising law after one year working as a solicitor for the love of story-telling. Wrote and directed my first film in 2009 on Digital Video - all done for £25,000. Made a couple of music documentaries in 2013 and 2016 which went to festivals (Fespaco/Montreal) and sold in France, China and Germany
Currently, finished a third draft of a screenplay entitled - 'Last Goal Wins'. A journey of human redemption where a man confronts his own demons through the responsibility of helping others.
It is a cross between Coach Carter and Rain Man set in the world of pre-teen youth football (soccer in the US) in the Greater London area. The film touches on issues of grief, success, gentrification, positive role models, team building and life lessons.
Hi Azu Aneke . Last Goal Wins sounds like a story with a lot of heart. Do you have any plans to pitch it?

For sure. That is most definitely on the agenda. Thanks for the input. Appreciated.
