I'm mostly a screenwriter now instead of an actor and I'm trying to focus on the kids' careers now (they actually book stuff!) and keep to the scriptwriting. I have two scripts ready to go and another "on deck" being polished. I've found the Stage 32 pitch sessions very useful and have even done a few "Deep Dives" with some of the excellent pros here. Once I have my last calling card script in shape I'm going to reach out and start looking for a Literary Manager who has a passion for my scripts equal to my own. I'm always willing to look and read screenplays when I can for fellow writers so don't be shy in reaching out. I give pretty good, honest, encouraging notes too! And yes, I live inside The Movie Zone.

Good to meet you, Mark Laing - wow, you've been on the platform for a while! Congrats on the two scripts, that's awesome! I'm so glad you've been getting good feedback from script services, that's great to hear!
Ooo, since you're willing to read scripts as well - what genres do you enjoy most?

So glad that you've had such a great time with our pitch sessions, Mark! I'm a big fan of them myself, and will happily help refer some potential executives your way, if you like :)

Thanks, Karen, and thanks, Angela. I'm happy to read All scripts really except maybe horror and even then I've been toying with writing one for myself so who knows - maybe I'll read one!
