Introduce Yourself : Given lemons make lemonade by Barry Duffield

Given lemons make lemonade

Hi all, we're entering into our third month of lockdown here in Auckland New Zealand and it's proving to be tougher than the others we've already endured. I won't go into my beliefs on the subject because of the huge divisional split that seems to exist. What I will tell you is that I started adapting my screenplay "The Nowhere Man" into a novel. This is my first and I have to say it's been a game-changer. As soon as the novel is dispatched to the book editor I'm going back to rewrite the script armed with the insight I gained from writing the novel. I also managed to squeeze in a few Zoom editing sessions with my editor and got the rough cut of my documentary "Full Throttle" completed. Over the last ten years, I've had eight solid placings in Final Draft Big Break, Screencraft, and Scriptapalooza, and been in front of the camera over the last thirty years with Spartacus: Blood and Sand (Lugo) being the most noteworthy. I am actively seeking contract screenwriting jobs and acting gigs. I'm not cheap, but I am easy :-)
