I'm trying out Vimeo On Demand for a few of the projects I lost on Amazon and may use it for some of my bigger stuff later. The key feature for me is the ability to sell behind the scenes videos with my film. Check out my opinion on it in this article:

Great post! " Does anyone even use Vimeo to watch full movies?" Yes! I use Vimeo On Demand pretty much! Thanks for posting!

Nice article. Personally, I have never been impressed with Vimeo, or their other label VHX. I would caution anyone thinking about distributing on either to investigate very thoroughly Vimeo/VHX's fee structure. On a TVOD sale it may or may not be bad. On a subscription basis, they structure it cleverly to ensure they get all the money you might make and then some... With numerous escalating fees based on bandwidth and other items.

I have used Vimeo - the free and paid version and not impressed with either. I have some stuff sitting there, rotting in the interwebs and no plans to use it for anything else. BUT - I am curious Jacob how your budget goes and what audience you reach on Vimeo. Are you going to do an AB test of what works?
