Introduce Yourself : New to group and new to script writing by Veronica Russell

Hello, I’m fairly new to the group. I joined a few months back, but never got involved with much because I wasn’t sure what direction I was going in. Up until now I have just been doing background acting, but this past week I finished writing my first ever screenplay. I’m rather proud of it, but don’t know if will ever be anything because I don’t have an agent or manager or any money to pay for either. I have never had any formal education in the film industry. I have a degree in the medical field and a degree in criminal justice. I talked to some people on set and they all thought my movie idea was great. I talked to the script supervisor on the one set and on his recommendation I purchased the Final Draft 12 software and used it to write my script. It all seemed very self explanatory and went fairly well. I know I need to do some tweaking and I still need to decide which of the 3 endings I want to use, but I really hope to some day see my movie on the big screen. Wish me luck!
