HI there, nice to meet you all.
I'm a British Writer, Director, Producer who made an ultra low-budget feature film, that after its release on Amazon Prime in 2018 became possibly its most pirated movie! By 2019/20 The Honey Killer was running at over 60m illegal hits on Google and was illegally translated or dubbed into over nine different languages. It went viral. Obviously I didn't see a penny but it became an underground world wide hit and I still get fan mail and.......hate mail about it til this day?
I'd be interested to hear from genuine agents, LA or UK, financiers, distributors and U.S Casting Directors about my follow-up screenplay, HANDFUL OF THIEVES, which has attracted the attention of everyone from Rob Pattinson to Eiza Gonzalez, and CAA and ICM. Budget £6m.

How are you, Richard Harrison? I think we talked before on here.

I'm doing fine, Richard Harrison. I recently finished a short script. Did you send me a short video about "Handful of Thieves" before?

Interesting. I would love to know what you mean by "illegal hits" on Google.

To quote Gabe Newell, "The easiest way to stop piracy is not by putting antipiracy technology to work. It’s by giving those people a service that’s better than what they’re receiving from the pirates." Looking at you Google and Amazon.

Hi, Richard. Sorry to hear that I’ve been in film Biz for a long time, and this rarely happens. Usually the people who do, often don’t last. Since the film industry is tiny, everyone knows each other: and 99% of the time, the projects that people think are stolen are just people with similar ideas, which one gets hot. I would speak to an attorney if I was you. But glad your moving forward with your new script as well.
Hi Shadow, and everyone else who commented, thank you very much! As soon as the film went 'viral' I went to see one of London's leading Film Lawyers. THE HONEY KILLER was soooooo prolific all over the internet that he said, 'It would cost a fortune for him to try and tackle all the torrent and streaming sites illegally showing it'. It was released on Amazon Prime through a Distributor with one trailer on Youtube. Within two weeks the trailer on Youtube had been copied 18 times by different people, and when you typed in The Honey Killer 2018 or just The Honey Killer into Google in 2019, the illegal results (without permission showing or referencing the film) ran to over 60m!!!! There were over 1m results of my film in Russian alone if you typed in the Russian translation. It was crazy!!!!!!! People had also spent time dubbing or adding subtitles to the film.........something my tiny Distributor had never done and which I couldn't afford. We watched it in Indonesian. The Lawyer said I has 'Proof of concept', and that if I wanted to capitalise on it, I should remake it immediately with star names and an enhanced script and shoot. SO FAR, no one has been interested, especially in the UK!!! And that's why I think an entrepreneurial U.S Producer or agent should really get involved. You could remake this for $5m. You have proof of concept. I shot in in 16 days on $30,000. It could easily be improved!!!!!!! For anyone still intrigued, I've attached some press and media stories on it and the podcast link below is definitely worth listening to! I'm happy for anyone to get in touch who can raise $5m and who has the clout to get a Zac Efron or an Eiza Gonzalez or a decent size name involved for an Indie like this! I can also tell you this, it's a 3 star out of 5 film......that's the most I could achieve on that money. Some people love it and write to me from all over the world while others........hate it so much then 'vent their fury' on imdb, Amazon, Facebook and even send me death threats! Have a read and listen! Thanks everyone, Richard@razorfilms.co.uk www.razorfilms.co.uk PODCAST: https://anchor.fm/chris-hadley/episodes/Episode-035---WriterDirector-Ric...
