Looking to Connect and Support

Hey Everyone my name is Chris and I am a writer, actor, and Voice over artist. I have been busy creating different projects and a clothing brand these past couple of months and have ventured in to game show ideas. Would love to know what your favorite game show is present or past and why? In addition looking to collaborate with sketch artist, storyboard artist or just passionate creatives looking to create. P.S if anyone is interested in supporting my minority owned clothing brand or featuring it in any of there projects let me know and check it out the link. www.irepresentthat.store ......... Looking forward to connecting with everyone

Good to have you on the platform, Christopher. You're probably going to laugh but growing up in the 90's my favorite game show is a tie between Global Guts and Family Double Dare. Lemme throw a couple people your way. Surya Devan has an awesome storyboarding reel, Azra Umar is also another talented artist who I'm sure would like to collaborate. Wishing you lots of luck with your projects!

My favorite game shows as a teen were How To Be A Millionaire and Wheel Of Fortune. I loved the Millionaire show because it was a show that made me think and sometimes I knew the answer if the question was about music or movies and I always felt bad for the person playing if they got the answer wrong. Wheel Of Fortune was a fun show as well and I loved guessing the sentence. Best of luck to you with your projects!

Favourite for me is definitely Jeopardy! past and present. I love the fact that there are so many answers to question, that there are 2 halves and a final question, that there's only you and the questions and no one to help you. I also appreciate how strategic you can be with the Daily Doubles. Also cool that there are various tournaments throughout the season. One of my frustrations with other quiz shows like The Chase, Who Wants to be A Millionaire, or The Weakest Link (I'm sure there are many more) is that a) you have the help from a friend or audience or whatever b) you have progression, but it's not split up, the game isn't upped at any point beyond 'bigger number' c) way too many dramatic pauses or drawn out moments because the shows don't actually have any substance. I guess Family Feud would be pretty good too. Wish there was more to it, but it's a lot less annoying than the newer formats of trivia shows.

Hey Frank, I have not heard of Global Guts but it feels like it would have a Fear Factor type vibe to it. Double dare sounds interesting and something I remember as a kid. Thanks for the recommendations I will reach out to them.

Hey Haley, Wheel of Fortune and who wants to be a millionaire were reel popular growing up as well. I always though wheel of fortune was the easiest game show to make money on

Hey Audrey, I do agree there are a lot more game shows with group or team aspects to win. Drama is something that is always incorporated in the show to get the people going haha. Even a game show like Tag can have those elements.
