G-day everyone. I'm John Fouche and I'm a television, illustrator, and graphic novel writer. I just finished a 30min animated pilot and working on the animated anamatic of the cold open and have started pitching it. I'm also working on turning my graphic novel into 1h animated pilot.
I'm from Australia and have written and illustrated up to 12 comics and currently working on my first long series graphic novel.
I look forward to meeting new people in the community.

This is fantastic artwork! And congratulations on your comic book and upcoming animated series! Did you see that Stage 32 is hosting a FREE webinar in partnership with Netflix on How to Write Comedy TV for Streaming? I think you may find it helpful: https://www.stage32.com/webinars/Netflix-%20-Stage-32-Present-Genre-Comedy-with-Stage-32-Educator-Vijal-Patel
Also, I'd LOVE for you to check out the Transmedia Lounge as well! More than a few members there have started out by producing their material as comic books before developing it as a film or series. https://www.stage32.com/lounge/transmedia I definitely think you should chat up Frank Konrath who hosts Story Worlds, a podcast that dives into the world of your story and helps you find other ways your audience can interact with it (transmedia mediums). He's got several posts in the Transmedia Lounge, too.

I'd love to see a blog post or some sort of detailed documentation about the process of turning your graphic novel into an animated pilot.
I think that would make a FANTASTIC blog! John Fouche If you're interested, please email our blog coordinator, Taylor C. Baker: Taylor@stage32.com
