Lostmarble (makers of the animation software Moho) just invited me to do a free webinar on my production of the series Phungus & Mowld as a one-man operation. If you're interested in taking a peek at my character rigs and setup, don't miss it!

Thanks. This will probably be fairly technical, since it's about the software I'm using. My guess is that people will likely want to see how I rig my characters in detail, and some creative solutions to complex or difficult to animate scenes.

Sorry, I wasn't able to make the live event but I was fortunate enough to watch it on YouTube.
I actually tried to learn an early version of Moho which, was called something else back in the day, and was SO overwhelmed that I gave up.
However, watching your Webinar made me reconsider how I was originally planning my next project and might actually consider giving Moho a second try.

Hey, Kilian Muster your Phungus & Mowld project looks awesome. I'm one of your new YT subscribers. Love to see future episodes. Onward and upward.

Elaine Haygood I totally know the feeling. I started using Moho at version 2.2 (first macOS version) and back then I couldn't make heads or tails of it. Then I had to produce an animated 30 second commercial for TV with it and I just had to learn how to use it.
I think this kind of app is similiar to 3D software in that you can't just launch it and figure it out yourself. The functionality is too complex and deep. Your best bet is to go through Moho's own step-by-step tutorials then watch tutorials on YouTube and set yourself an attainable goal of what you want to create by when.

This is very impressive. I wish I had time to really learn to do animation myself rather than relying on others. But I guess that's the writer's life no matter what the medium.

Thanks. I think this is not a matter of having the time – I've got a day job and two kids, and I'm not a trained animator, just a designer who wants to tell a story – you've got to make time and decide you want to do this. And then, well, life will find a way ;-)

@Killian. I saw your Webinar. Dude! I am BEYOND impressed with what you've managed to do on your own.
