Hello all,
There are a couple of things I need your opinion or suggestions with-
1. What's the best platform for crowdfunding, an existing content's second part. The first part has great reception worldwide with awards, critic reviews, etc. Where can I go to fund my second in the series (it's short content, not web series), are there platforms that do not let you keep any funds; if you don't meet the minimum goal, and are there other platforms that have a film-maker friendly policy?
2. I have a project in post-production that needs funding for lifting off the decks to the actual distribution stage, where and how does one market a near-completed project?
Our team is pretty much bootstrapped and we can only provide digital posters, etc for our contributors. Feel free to suggest any other ideas that you think should work. Any groups, lounges, or website suggestions could help me and my team with this. We are mostly looking to learn from your personal experiences.
Thanks a ton!

Have you tried Patreon? As far as I know, they allow fundraising for filmmakers (Or any other video content creators actually). People are usually willing to pay every month for behind-the-scenes bits and other extra content like posters, etc.
Thanks, Oleh, I will check them out.

RB, the CEO of Stage 32, wrote an entire book on crowdsourcing which would be a fantastic resource: https://www.amazon.com/Crowdsourcing-for-Filmmakers-audiobook/dp/B07N6KT...
