Hello, Stage 32!
My name is Kilara Sen a.k.a Pink Unicorn from the east coast...FAR east coast, Tokyo, Japan.
Actually, I just received the artist visa and am moving to New York end of May!
I have performed standup comedy at places like cruise ships and appeared on international TVs.
But now I am writing a comedy TV pilot to bring to the US.
To say the truth, my mom was an internationally famous Japanese film celebrity...Godzilla.
While I was a kid all I was allowed to do was study. lol
I ended up being heavily depressed and a hikikomori: hikikomori is a Japanese term to mean people who don't go to work, who don't go to school, and who stopped everything, in English otherwise known as a COMEDIAN.
I studied abroad at HBCU. This experience opened my eyes to diversity.
My emotional recovery and support was from black culture and black studies.
On the other hand, I grew up in a country ranked the 121st in gender equality ranking.
Now I love to share my voice on mental health, feminism, and diversity via my comedy with laughs.
However, as you may see from my writing so far, my English is not perfect.lol
Also, I am still learning about the industry which is very different from Japan's.
I joined here to network, learn, and get inspired by amazing, talented, and beautiful creative people!!
Nice to meet you!
ARGT (my 4 letter words meaning Arigato)
