Horror writer here and looking to see if anyone has experience in the horror industry. I've written a few scripts and trying to get my work out in the world. Any information is most helpful. I've pitched directly to Stage32 along with sending my scripts into various competitions here and on Film Freeway, but if anyone is looking for a scary story, I'd love to chat about my ideas. Thank you everybody.

Actually horror's always on demand...It's just how much of a new faces doing it are, if u get me...as I see A24 is full on horror, Bloomhouse as well...but can't just apply to them outta blue...so, if getting a rep is outta picture for now, I recommend try a breakthrough some valid genre contests, and the most easy accessible (free) according to my notes is Bloodlist...their merge of produced winners speak for itself...check it...

Hi Glenn, That all sounds great, and you need to think beyond the script, make a simple poster yourself on photoshop or buy one cheap on fiverr, write a short synopsis,a long synopsis, a treatment, a logline and tag line and if it’s a feature and you want to produce it a pitch deck is useful. If you just want to sell your script that is not necessary. Win competitions and awards at film festival, the higher up more expensive ones and BFTA and Academy accredited ones are even better at helping. There aren’t certain funders for horror too that do buy scripts. Win a few awards and get yourself a manager or agent it’s a slow climb to success unless you are lucky.
