'The Recess' directed by Navid Nikkhah Azad has been selected as the winner in the General Category competition section of the 23rd Certamen de Cortometrajes, or University Short Film Contest 'C.M.U. Santa María De Europa' in Spain.
The festival has announced the award winners on April 25, 2022 at the Santa María de Europa Residence Hall in Madrid, Spain.
'The Recess' marked its 17th international award at the 23rd edition of the Certamen de Cortometrajes (Certamen Universitario de Cortometrajes C.M.U. Santa María de Europa) in Spain.
'The Recess' ('El Recreo') has competed in 91 international film festivals and is considered the most acclaimed short film from Iran competing in international film festivals around the world in the past year.
