Submissions are open again for the Ojai Film Festival's screenplay competition. There's a few days left in the regular submission window. Late submissions start on May 1.
Ojai presents the winning screenplay as a table read at the festival. The first several years it was live, but the last couple of years it has been presented as a recorded Zoom table read, which allowed us to enhance the presentation with still images and sound effects.
We've gotten some fine entries so far this year, but the competition is still wide open. If you have an excellent screenplay you're ready to share and you'd like to see talented actors bring your words to life, enter at FilmFreeway:
