Hi Jai! Have you tried Coverfly.com? They are a platform with tons of verified leads on submissions. And Filmfreeway.com has loads as well. Just log on and search for they type of competition you want. Happy hunting!!
It depends on what you are trying to get out of the competition. Coverfly, NetworkISA, Filmfreeway have short competitions listed. Look at the potential awards and see what you're looking for. Money to produce the short, having someone else produce it etc.
Jai, welcome to the Stage 32 family. When you're ready to write your feature, DM me. We are all family over here. The small cracks in those sealed doors are starting to open. Always remember to pay homage to those fighting for us to get signed, produced and become professionals in the film industry...Richard Botto, Jason Mirch, Molly Peck and the list goes on endlessly. Always love this group of likeminded creators, and your dreams will come true. BLISS--
Hey Jai Jackson! No need to be terrified about writing a feature, my friend! With proper planning the process is a lot of fun - even if it is hard work. For now, rather than submitting blindly to contests for shorts, where you might never hear from them again, take that entry fee and invest in Short Script Coverage. You can get notes back in a week and it is the same cost (or less) as entering contests: https://www.stage32.com/scriptservices/coverage/buy?id=38

Jai, write a feature. A good short is much harder.
