Hey everyone!
I've been taking a break from writing for a few months and now I'm back revisiting my TV pilot. I'd love some feedback/advice on the piece. It's a drama that I've pitched many times already here on Stage 32.
However, it would be awesome to connect with more writers as well as receive feedback on where I should put more of my efforts in writing especially since I'm quite new to screenwriting.
Thanks so much! Hope everyone is staying safe and inspired!

Hi Aconda. How are you?
Like you I took a break for a few months. I was writing smaller projects but stepped away from the promotion process for a while and now getting back in.
What kind of pilot are you working on?

As a writer who's written and pitched several pilots, I can understand :)

Bill Albert I'm working on a drama. The pilot is "done" but of course, I keep going back to make tweaks and re-vise and seek out advice. I still think it could be better. I'm working on finalizing my pitch deck. What are you working on?

Aconda Williams I know the feeling about waning to go back and revise your scripts. Sometimes you just ha e to say it's good and start promoting it. Be careful not to over write to much.
My biggest project started as a novel but after a few chapters I just felt it was better told in series format. Once that pilot was written it really became a passion project for me. I've got a pilot script, look book, series bible and even 11 episodes written.
New pitch session next week.

Bill Albert You are totally right. Sometimes as writer we just have to put the work out there and see how it goes. OMG that's awesome to have 11 episodes already written!!! Also wishing you all the luck on the pitch session next week.
