Hello, all!
My name is Thomas, and I discovered Stage 32 while looking for new ways to meet more screenwriters and creators. I'm currently in college, working towards an English degree, but I'm also taking a few film classes, because that's always been a part of my plan!
I was born in Greece, but I've been raised in the US since I was 12. Naturally, I struggled learning to communicate and find resources that could help me out, and that's what I want my stories to offer other people. Over the past few years, I've dedicated myself to improving my writing skills and getting better acquainted with the film industries at play around me. I can't wait to get to know you all better and make new opportunities together!

Welcome to the community, Thomas Walters. Here's a blog about navigating the platform. "Navigating Stage 32 For Your Best Experience" https://www.stage32.com/blog/navigating-stage-32-for-your-best-experienc...
You said, "I've dedicated myself to improving my writing skills and getting better acquainted with the film industries at play around me." The Screenwriting Lounge can help you improve your writing skills (https://www.stage32.com/lounge/screenwriting).
And here are the other Lounges: https://www.stage32.com/lounge You can jump in, make posts, ask questions about screenwriting and other areas of the industry, and comment on people's posts. Doing these things are great ways to build relationships/network.

Hi Thomas Walters - do you write from your personal experience as a young teen? I can see that being very meaningful for kids around that age to relate to. Are you taking any classes now?

Hi, Shellie! I often try to write what I know, just because that will inevitably be more likely to produce good results. That does typically involve stories about being young and all that comes with it. Thanks for your question!
