Hello my fellow Stage 32 members. I wish to proudly and enthusiastically share the awe-inspiring and faith-building accomplishments of my 3 faith-base/horror/drama screenplays in the contests/festivals circuit.
So, at the start of 2022, I submitted my screenplays to 50 festivals/contests... abroad and domestically. Yes, it was quite expensive entering 50 contests/festivals. But, I have heard it said, fortune favors the brave and confident.
My goal, hope and prayers was to have 1 or all 3 of my screenplays to get selected and even win 85% of the events entered, and maybe, just maybe some producers or agents would take notice and reach out to me.
Well, over the past several months, I have received notification from 23 of the 50. Below, I will joyfully reveal the outcome.
1. Oniros Film Awards - New York.... Best Inspirational Screenplay. Month of September.
2. Global Motion Pictures and Filmmakers... Best Horror Screenplay.
3. Festigious International Film Fest. - Los Angeles... Best Drama Screenplay. Month Of September.
4. Faith Fest... Honorable Mention
5. Los Angeles Cinema Festival of Hollywood.... Award Of Merit
6. Toronto Tamil (I) Film Fest... Honorable Mention
