This is such a wonderful book. It is definitely written primarily for anyone who identifies as a woman written by women— but I think it’s a valuable read for any gender identification. It puts things into perspective for how people who identify as women experience stress differently due to societal stigmas, while also highlighting the difficulties that POC and other minority groups face. It does a fantastic job of laying out steps to take in order to get control of your stress so you don’t reach burnout. Especially in the Film/TV industry, it’s easy to get carried away and prioritize goals over health/mental health, when the reality is that we can achieve SO much more if we take the time to master our own stress cycles. I highly recommend!
