Good News: I received the new book, "Cinema Speculation", written by Quentin Tarantino, from my wife as a Christmas gift. So far, it's a wonderful read. Example: In reference to the movie, "Joe" Directed by John Avildsen, "...Avildsen, by combining Peter Boyle's bravura comic performance with this grim trash-o-louge, produces a cocktail mixed with piss that's disturbingly tasty." I'm looking forward to the next 365 pages.

Me too. I am now allowed 2 books on the beside table. The book version of the screenplays for Nolan’s Batman and this. I love the open pages. I can feel Hollywood Boulevard in 1970.

Craig D Griffiths That's funny or 'funny' - I'm not sure which. : )

I used to bring screenplays in from my office, books, sheet music and read it all in bed. Mostly when I couldn’t sleep.
My wife got the shits and said I.can have one thing. She is okay with my office looking like a bomb site, but not our bedroom.
Nolan has been there constantly. Now Tarantino, because she purchased the book for me.

Great quote and I hear it’s a great read - putting it on my list. I found “Joe” to be such a powerful film as a kid.

I've heard nothing but great things, although not surprised at all by the accolades. Appreciate you bringing it to the community, Gerald.
