My Animation dynamic and lighting test

Working with a co-writer named Krishtina Mayers for a series of books and animations called "Honey Drop." Had serious writer's block for six months, maybe due to a focus on corporate writing to pay the bills? Not sure, but I felt tapped out. Now, getting back into it and feeling inspired again... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZC7C0mdF0oo

Maurice Vaughan

I love the title "Honey Drop," Alicia Renee Norman! Glad you got over the writer's block. I like your character animations, but I think their movements need to be more natural (less robotic).

Shellie Schmals

Hi Alicia Renee Norman - great to see that you've broken the block! Interested to see where this character goes.

David Kleve

Good to hear, you are feeling inspired again.

Molly Peck

Glad to know you're writing again Alicia, keep that energy going in the new year!

Alicia Renee Norman

Maurice Vaughan Thank you so much, Maurice. You're right and that has been bugging me--yeah getting the clothing dynamics were a bear and I had to play with the framing a bit--I may increase the frame rate to 60 instead of 30--not sure if that would work, but worth a shot...

Alicia Renee Norman

Shellie Schmals Thank you. she's based on Persephone but here she is Prina (Proserpyn), and Lil Miss Prina is bad, gurl, so very, very bad. Death looks saintly next to her, lol.

Alicia Renee Norman

@David Kleve it was definitely slow going, I wasn't sure if I would regain it... going to try to write as much as I can before I run out of juice, lol

Alicia Renee Norman

@Molly Peck -- Hey Molly! Thank you--you best believe it. Collabing right now as we speak... we are truly vibing it out... appreciate y'all!

Niki H

That's fantastic Alicia, so glad to hear your in the groove!

Alicia Renee Norman

Niki H Thank you, Niki! It was so depressing and frustrating!

Maurice Vaughan

You're welcome, Alicia Renee Norman. "I may increase the frame rate to 60 instead of 30--not sure if that would work, but worth a shot" Yeah, it's worth a shot. You could also ask people here in the Animation Lounge. They might have experience with the issue and the program you use.
