I'm really excited to announce my screenplay "Night Blooming Jasmine" placed in the top ten in the suspense category in the Emerging Screenwriters Genre competition for 2023. It started in the quarter-finals and kept chugging along. I was grateful for that, but I'm really stoked it made the top ten so far. As screenwriters we need all the help we can get. Or as my mom would put it... "Every little bit helps, said the lady as she peed in the ocean". Lol

Wonderful, and thanks for linking to my network. I've written a romantic comedy (with musical and sci-fi elements) that's set in Vegas; I like to describe it as what "Attack of the 50-Foot Woman" would be if it were a rom-com.
LOGLINE: A singing-dancing Vegas casino waitress accidentally made three times her size becomes a Sin City showroom icon, falls in love with the scientist whose mishap made her a giant, then vows to rescue him when he's kidnapped by three mutual rivals... including the owner of a gentlemen's club, who's secretly a blackmailing mobster.
