Hello Stage32, I'm a director and writer with a focus on comedies, but not exclusively. I created a short form comedy series for Turner's Superdeluxe channel called Psych Ward based on my life as a 23 year old head mental health counselor in a locked psychiatric ward in Boston. I'm in the process of producing a short doc on the most influential rock journalist you never heard of. I have a half dozen scripts and treatments that I'm starting to circulate. I've created a content business model and I'm looking for investment partners to have a chat with. My background is a director and creative director in advertising. I've worked in more than a dozen ad agencies creating national and global campaigns for Coca Cola, ESPN, Verizon, Citibank and many more, but my complete focus now is on creating original content for streaming and film. My work, https://crosscutsf.com Let's talk. Mike

Hi, Mike. Another Michael here who has also worked with more than a dozen ad agencies. Except in my case it was as a composer and songwriter. (The KitKat Gimme A Break jingle probably being the most famous.) Like Bruce, I like your website. I consider myself a nerd, however not sponge-wearing..
I changed careers to film and TV scoring and worked for Jerry Bruckheimer, Ron Howard, Jim Brooks, and Jeffrey Katzenberg. More recently I've been writing scripts - I've had two Nicholl semi-finalists and a quarter finalist. Plus a short I wrote, The Aspirant, won 20 festival awards and garnered praise from Gore Verbinski, Matt Groening, Vicky Jenson, and Wim Wenders.
