BTW, if anyone would like to trust me with doing coverage on their script, please let me know. I'm not a professional, but I think I do very good analysis, and it would be free. If you have any doubts, we can sign a "non-compete" agreement to ensure that your story remains yours.
Previously, in various online aspiring screenwriting forums, I was one of the few who would read the entire scripts (you never know where the gems might be) and would deliver a summary of the story (you never know if your readers get the same story you think you're telling) and I would apply the What Works/What Doesn't Work rubric to the analysis, given what (story, genre) I think the writer was aiming for.
My tutelage comes from John Truby, his Classic Story Structure, Action, Philosophy in Story classes, his books The Anatomy of Story and The Anatomy of Genre and his software, Blockbuster. And I've worked on over 30 scripts and consider 13 completed and market-worthy, 4 of which have made it to the semifinals in 3 different contests, one of them here at Stage 32.

I've done my first coverage since promoting it here; I've done a fair amount before, elsewhere. I hope it's useful and informative!
If you want feedback on your script, let me know. Also, if you're at the Treatment stage prior to the Screenplay stage, that might be better timing. That way you won't waste valuable creative energy on the script if your story isn't quite ready.
