AVOD Platforms

Anyone having trouble getting their titles on Amazon's Freevee? Our aggregator has informed us they are currently on a "freeze." Which is awesome. Freevee was one of the main platforms we were looking at utilizing to drive traffic to. We are currently on Tubi for AVOD.

Also curious if anyone has any suggestions on how to get on YouTube TV without having a monetized channel. Hearing as they may be quite the gorilla in the coming years, they are not currently a platform our aggregator covers.

Look into an MCN on YouTube that fits your genre.

Multi-Channel Networks (“MCNs” or “networks”) are third-party service providers that affiliate with multiple YouTube channels.

Services may include audience development, content programming, creator collaborations, digital rights management, monetization, and/or sales.

This is great David, thank you

Ben Rood Hi Ben, have you checked out Vimeo OTT?

Ben Rood

So, I have. But upon everything I know and read, Vimeo just doesn't seem to have much of an audience simply because it's so niche. Are you seeing good data?

Ben Rood Vimeo is also a bit sleazy, with hidden fees everywhere that essentially let them charge you whatever you are making through their platform on most of their plans.

Geoff Hall

Ben Rood It’s something we were considering, but aren’t ready to take the jump. I’m still not sure, as Shadow Dragu-Mihai, Esq., Ipg says, it’s the hidden fees that get you.
