Hey everyone! I spent the majority of my life doing stressful jobs (police officer, private security, private police, military police) and decided I would get into writing. I now have 140+ awards (wins and nominations) for shorts, features, and a TV series. I enjoy writing original stories with diverse, unique characters. I have both unproduced and produced scripts with a wide range of budgets ($1k - $30m).
What I'm hoping to find is connections of any sort. Let's be friends, let's encourage each other, let's write together, and/or let's work together in some form or fashion.
Recent works:
"One Way Out," which is optioned and ready for production.
"Miscalculated," which has a premiere on April 8th, in Greenbelt, MD.
"The Christmas Gift," which is currently in festivals and screenwriting competitions. It is available to be optioned.
Logline: A woman gives up her inheritance for a chance to stand on her own two feet, but when life becomes full of rejection and tragedy, she must choose between her career and the one that got away.

I am working on two TV Series, two limited TV Series, a couple of short screenplays, and a feature screenplay. I dabble in a wide variety of genres (romcom, action, drama, horror, thriller, etc.). I love staying busy and keeping those creative juices flowing.
Can't wait to meet you all! Feel free to send me network requests!

So glad to have you in the community Alyxandrya! Does your history of having such stressful jobs impact what you decide to write? I’d be curious if all of that experience makes it into your characters.

Great question, Amanda! I do incorporate my knowledge within my work but not in the most obvious of ways. The Feature "Miscalculated" allowed me to write using my knowledge, but I also encouraged my favorite co-writer/producer/director to express himself as well, creatively. It was a mixture of on-the-job knowledge and originality from us both. So much fun writing with other creative minds!
