Introduce Yourself : Changing My Life by Julian Morgan

Changing My Life

Hiya, I only joined Stage 32 a few days ago so this was a good opportunity not to be shy, introduce myself and progress with a new chapter in my life.

I am a recovered alcoholic with a pretty hopeless life story and I certainly won't bore you with any past 'war stories'.

I had to dramatically change my life to successfully recover from addiction and any opportunity to discover a new set of friends, a new positive group of people, a new family, I will literally jump at the chance.

I have recently self-published a memoir which is actually getting a fair amount of interest especially with the younger generation, as it is a self-help tool to help with long term sobriety.

After spending decades in the close protection industry looking after celebrities, pop stars, and boorish, discourteous brats, I have now committed to a future of writing both prose and poetry that produces a relentless daily smile.

So I'll leave it there and enjoy the rest of your day.

Hi Julian! Welcome to Stage 32! Perfect timing to join. Congratulations on publishing your memoir. Are you adapting it into a screenplay?

Cheryl Jones

Hello! I bet you've got some amazing stories you could turn into a TV show or film project!

Julian Morgan

Good afternoon to you all and thank you for the extremely kind, encouraging, and motivating comments. I am looking to adapt my memoir for TV alongside a second book that I am just finishing. It is focused on providing awareness especially for children, teen and young adult age groups because within that generation and in my opinion, addiction can be slowed down. It will never cease to be on our doorstep, but with nail biting, true accounts showing the consequences of addiction and of course the successful rewards of sobriety, it will be very educational and one that will "hook" everyone!! Should I dare say - very addictive.
