I remember going to pubs in the 80s, everyone was always having a fag. Never came out of one not stinking of cigarette smoke. *for those in the US, a fag is slang for cigarette! Interesting article on trying to create authenticity in 80s England. You don't always remember the details but if you get it wrong someone else will pull you up on it.
