Distribution : Connecting through attachments by David Tenenbaum

I'm a relatively new manager and I'm trying to get my client's timely (and award winning) animated pilot in front of networks. I'm currently attaching actors to the project. My question is, is there an unwritten rule that says managers shouldn't ask agents of the actors they sign to pass on their OWN affiliations to Netflix or Hulu folks they know?
