Hello, all! Hope everyone is having a fun (and productive, if you wish) weekend! I decided it's time to throw this into the S32 sea.
I'm looking for investors/funding partners for my next VR piece which is a 360° volumetric capture series that is a horror/comedy/action mash-up called "Drunk Zombie Duelists". We've completed a proof of concept in the Netherlands and are looking for 400€ to go to series.
Wondering if ya'll knew of any producers on the site that are interested in cutting edge, hi-tech storytelling.
Just a reminder who I am around these parts: a member of the Writer's Room, S32 user since '16, I've given a course on S32 about the Metaverse, and was on a panel with RB @ Cannes this year about AI and XR. (Where I had a booth exhibiting my branching narrative VR piece
"The Werewolf Experience" which will be distributed this Fall.)
So. That's the short version... here's the long version/details about the project:
Blurb:
Two 17th century best friends are doomed to fight the same duel every 10 years, leaving one “dead” in the forest and the other to walk the earth until they fight again in the same woods drunk off their ass. To be shot in 360° with world class fights with the combat being captured on a volumetric stage, Drunk Zombie Duelists is a truly original 360° series that unfolds over five six-minute episodes chronicling this cursed friendship. What bullet-time did for The Matrix, volumetric capture will do for DZD and fighting in 360°… revolutionize action sequences for its medium.
