Checked out the trailer of one of your two IMDB movies. Liked it; going from colour to black and white in combination with strobe effects, it worked! A shame you're not in L.A.

I'm genuinely drawn to stories that feature relatable characters with flaws and a grey shade to their personalities. It could be any genre for that matter. I find it quite intriguing to explore the complexities of human nature and witness characters who struggle with their own internal conflicts. I find myself deeply engaged when I can empathize with their struggles and see them navigate morally ambiguous situations. I feel characters, with their imperfections and internal battles, often offer a more realistic and thought-provoking portrayal of the human experience.

What do you mean by "grey shade to their personalities," Khushboo Sinha?

Maurice Vaughan by grey shade I meant morally ambiguous characters, neither entirely good nor entirely bad.

Thank You Amanda for the warm welcome! I believe in projects that have a compelling story and well-developed characters. Regardless of the genre or format, I believe that a strong narrative and relatable characters are at the core of engaging and impactful storytelling.

Hi! Nice to meet you! Do you receive scripts submissions? Or books? Thank you.
Oh ok, Khushboo Sinha. That makes sense. I write characters with grey shade to their personalities. I think it makes them more layered and more relatable. And as you said, they "struggle with their own internal conflicts."
Speaking of characters, I got a script note once that said the reader didn't care about my protagonist. I cared about the protagonist, but the reader didn't, so I spent time rewriting my protagonist's parts. That shows writers need to think "Will the audience care about my characters?*" when they outline and write scripts. Otherwise, the audience might not care about the story and what happens to the characters.
