Great quote! Darren Aronofsky is an incredibly talented writer/director/producer, Tammy Hunt. My favorite movie he directed is "The Wrestler."

This is very true, and I only recently understood why using passion to drive your life should have been the key to fulfilling it. I did not have any advice when I was at the point of making some life choices but this has meant my creative side has been suppressed whilst life just happened. Like a character in a boring screenplay, I have had life happen and not taken the tougher route of upending the safe path I travelled. The change for me is the 'Call to arms', the disturbance in a straight path, reflecting the conflict in a screenplay. Perhaps I'm aligning my own journey too closely to how I'd write a good story. But without conflict, how could one grow?
