160 Emotions in Film

Found this on youTube, really interesting for animators and creators!  https://youtu.be/o5aiRrHq5Ao

Mike Boas

Good concept for a video, I have some issues with the execution. I'd encourage animators to collect their own clips as an exercise, to really give some thought to the acting, rather than rely on 2 second shots that someone else is presenting out of context.

Leonardo Ramirez

Love this Jackie Tarascio . And thanks for including Ferris! #SaveFerris

Maurice Vaughan

Thanks for sharing, Jackie Tarascio! I spend a lot of time trying to get emotion across with facial expressions, actions, and reactions when I write scripts. I saved the video so I can refer back to it.

Martin Reese

Thanks Jackie Tarascio. This is great stuff.

Sam Sokolow

This is very cool. I always think in life that we wouldn't have all the emotions we do if we weren't meant to feel them all. Seeing actors bring them all to life gives me huge respect for their work. Thanks, Jackie Tarascio!

Agree Mike. Collect both live action and animated clips, shoot ref, and ref alts, sketches. Then make sure the shot intent reads LOUD and clear.

Lloyd Dsouza

This should be acting 101.

Sam Rivera

Thank you for sharing Jackie Tarascio this looks great!

Ryan Christiansen
