Hi all! I love the production design side of filmmaking, with 20 years experience in film & theatre design and production. I live in Kenosha, WI - halfway between Milwaukee and Chicago. Kenosha has a burgeoning film scene of its own accord, and we just wrapped principal photography on a horror feature a couple of months ago. If you ask any director I've worked with, you'll hear that 1) I'm nice 2) I'm VERY detail oriented and thorough, and 3) I have a gift for solving anyone's problems, usually in the moment and on a shoestring. Sometimes using a shoestring! :) You can see some of the projects I've done at www.d4production.com

Great to meet you, Jody Sekas. I've VERY detail oriented and thorough too. Is the Horror feature "Bigfoot: The Lost Coast Tapes"?

Welcome to the Stage 32 community, Jody Sekas! I've always been fascinated by production design!! I could see how being detail-oriented would be so important in your position.
The best way to network here on Stage 32, is to put yourself out there by posting, commenting, and connecting with people from all over the world. The most effective networking comes from building genuine relationships over time. A great way to start is by checking out the Filmmaking Lounge where you can join discussions, pose questions that you may have, provide advice or insights, and share news/announcements that interest you.
You can find the lounge through the toolbar at the top of your browser window. Simply click on "Lounge", which will direct you to a new page listing all the current lounges available. Then select "Filmmaking".
But don’t stop there! Here’s a great blog explaining the best ways to navigate Introduce Yourself Weekend, right here on Stage 32: https://www.stage32.com/blog/navigating-stage-32s-introduce-yourself-wee...
