So I am watching this webinar about to write a TV pitch Bible and in the webinar they say something about a Pitch deck, and I was wondering how do I write a pitch deck, do you need Microsoft word to make it or is it the same as using Powerpoint to make a Pitch Bible?

Hopefully someone on S32, can provide a link to a pitch deck(s). Have a look and then determine if you want to use Word and PowerPoint. Plus you'll be able to see what's needed in a pitch deck.

I used PowerPoint, myself, though you can also use Apple Keynote or if you're more comfortable with it Adobe Photoshop or InDesign. So long as you can output to PDF, you should be fine.
While pitch decks don't HAVE to be a lot of pictures, many have them to garner interest. Here's a site with a bunch of them that you can start to get ideas from - https://vip.graphics/film-tv-pitch-deck-examples/.

gotta have some basics of graphic design at least...saw a pitch deck for "Stranger Things" it's more of a comic than PP presentation...imagination has no limits only after you master the tools of your trade...

Pitch decks can be horizontal or vertical, but I've mainly seen horizontal decks. I use Canva.com to make horizontal decks. I don't make vertical decks, but if I did, I'd use Microsoft Word.

Yes, you can use MS Word.

I use Microsoft PowerPoint but you can use anything you want as long as you can print it in PDF. So that would probably exclude chiseling it on stones.

You can use whatever you want to get your idea across. As long as the person you're pitching likes it, that's all that matters.

You can use Microsoft Word to make vertical pitch decks, Steven Gibson. I'm not sure if you can make horizontal pitch decks with Microsoft Word though.

Timothy Liebe I'd agree with you. But if you have a track record and / or know the people you are pitching your project too, it really doesn't matter how you present it. They are investing in you. Too many people spend a fortune making a pitch deck that nobody wants to see.

You have received tons of answers and probably have what you need, but I just searched this last night and funny I should read this today! This guy along with others are now combining the Bible and the pitch deck together. I have a couple I am working on. I have seen the simplest with another producer to now, this sample. I’m sure another answer is making it clear as mud, but wanted to throw it in. ha. Let’s get this thing done! Happy Pitch Decking!

PPT seems to be the go to software but use what you have and what works for you.
Photoshop or similar is essential. An AI image generator like Midjourney as well.
